Bottle feeding

Grandma is trying out a new bottle- we are not sure which one Erin likes the best. So far she is not picky. Although she does tend to like to eat, so I was not expecting too much fuss.

After eating she rubs her face on my shoulder and should she spit up, we end up with chunky milk all over her face.

Hanging out

One of Erin's favorite things to do is sit on my legs and

sing songs and make faces.

Discovering her hand

Erin is fascinated by her hand. I still am unable to catch her cooing at it since every time I bring out the camara she stops what she is doing and stares at it.

Found her hand and tongue

SOo Erin has recently noticed this thing attached to her arm and has been staring at it intently. She blows bubbles and sticks out her tongue when she concentrates.

Statistics

So Erins new statistics are: weight 10lbs 13oz (48%), Length 23 (75%)

and head circumference: 15 and 3/8 (48%)

Previous stats from 6/10: weight 6lbs 11oz (5%), length 19 and 3/4 (25%), head 13 and 1/2 (15%)

Vaccines

Today Erin got her first vaccines. She took it like a trooper. They gave an oral vaccine first which she laughed and smiled at the tech throughout, then the tech gave the first vaccine in her thigh- ititially she had a startled look on her face for about three seconds and then the crying started. We felt so guilty and then to top it off she spiked a fever and was super sleepy all day. Hopefully her legs will not be painful tomorrow (See war wound band-aid above)

Sleeping

Brendan liked the outfit and position- she was in the middle of batting at the octopus and fell asleep,

After bath

After her bath Erin is very content and happy. She was cooing and laughing until she started hiccuping.

Uncle Cliff's gift

The original photo is much better- it makes her eyes look really blue.

Uncle Cliff sent this crazy bib in the mail- so far she has not cried for anyone....

Kicking off blankets

Still attempting to swaddle Erin at night- but she kicks everything off before falling asleep

Rattle time

With a little help (placed it in her hand) Erin held onto the rattle and shook it around. A few times she hit herself in the head and then looked startled. So today was a big day for firsts.

Rolling over

Erin rolled over twice today before the video camera came out. She was holding her head up really high and then started tilting to the left.

Daddy changing diaper

I think both Erin and Brendan were having a good time changing diapers. Erin will laugh and giggle when we change her (especially at 5am when she has no intention of going back to

sleep).

Tutu and Papa Pat

Tutu and Papa Pat left today so we needed to get some family photos. This was Erin's second time wearing a dress.

Visiting the office

We went to Brendan's office to see what a lawyer does all day. Erin woke up for the visit to briefly nurse and then throw up all over Bridget (thankfully not on any important papers)
