Lobsters!

Brendan went to Maine for our friend AJ's wedding and brought back some pajamas for Erin....

Breakfast

Erin wanted to sit at the table and drink her milk with Tutu. Then she decided to feed Tutu her cottage cheese instead of eating it herself.

Family Fun

Papa Pat and Tutu were in town for Tutu's 40th high school reunion and cousin's Aedan and Dustin came down for the day. We went to the beach in the morning and then the picnic and followed the day up with some legos.

Icecream

Handels icecream opened near our house. After a fun outing at the park we cooled off with some baby icecream cones.

Playground

Erin loves to climb things and go down the slide. Brendan had to help her on this one since it was so big.

Playing on the beach

Although it is September in California the weather requires long sleeves and sweatshirts at the beach. After spending so much time at the beach with her grandparents we thought we should at least visit the beach once this summer.

One last day with Grandpa

Erin spent one last day with her grandparents before we got back from Tahiti. Here she is with her new stroller and playing with grandpa.

Statistics update

Erin had her 15 month doctors appointment on Sept 1 and I have not had a chance to update her statistics, so here we go:
Weight 22lbs 6 oz (49%)
Length 33inch (100%)
Head circumference 19inch (100%)

So maybe an aspiring bobble head?

Reading

Sitting on the chair reading some books is a good way to pass the time.

This is one of her books from the PJ library and free once a month book that comes in the mail having to do with something jewish from holidays to morals.

More time in her Pajamas

Erin still loves to sit in her boppy and have her milk or climb up the back of the couch. Early in the morning Grandma tried to keep Erin calm, praying for a second nap.

Slippers

Erin likes to play with her grandma's slippers and mom and dad's shoes.

Toys R Us

Erin had fun at the toy store and even ended up with an new baby stroller. This is the perfect place to take a kid to play as long as you can get out of there without a million purchases.

A little housework and a little dancing

Some random pictures of her playing in the laundry room and dancing in the blue room. Grandpa played lots of music on his iphone so Erin had plenty of oppertunities to dance.

Baby Sign Language

Erin knows a few signs or her variation of signs. She points to the palm of her hand and that means "want or more". She waves her hands in the air and that means "all done" and she snaps her fingers for "pick me up". We need to change that last one since I don't want a spoiled princess!

She is starting to ask for more in this picture....although it looks like she is picking lint off her palm.

Wiggle my Ears

Grandma and Grandpa taught Erin about the features of her face. She can point to her nose and wiggle her ears.

Who's pinching Grandma?

Erin has learned to pinch! She grabs the soft flesh of the arm and pinches between very long fingernails. We need some serious discipline!

Sleeping? or playing?

In the early mornings grandma takes Erin from her crib and lays in bed with her to try get her to sleep in longer. Occasionally it works and other times it turns into a pillow fight.

After beach bath

After getting nice and dirty at the beach Erin needed a good scrub in her bath. I think it is time to move her from the infant tub. She helps wet herself with her pink cup and enjoyes sinking her animals.

Bye Bye Beach

Erin tries to push the stroller down the starnd and convince grandma and grandpa that she wants to stay at the beach.

One last run on the beach and then home they go.
