Come and get me

Erin is a great crawler now. She moves very fast when she needs to.

No hands

A great free toy. She tries to get the water inside but the cap is on tight. I think dogs like to play with empty water bottles as well, so maybe we are encouraging bad habits.

Dad and dancing

Brendan loves to dance with Erin to "Flogging Molly" and she enjoys the freestyle moves.

Getty museum

WE spent most of the afternoon on the grass in the shade. We had a nice lunch and a quick view of museum. I think Erin is about as appreciative of art as I am.

Dustin and Erin

Today we met Aunt Maya and Baby Dustin at the Getty Museum. Both babies were very well behaved. It was a very hot day, but in the shade the weather was great. We sat on the grass, and Erin stayed on the towel since every movement to the grass was met with distaste.

Having fun on the grass

Hanging out on the first sunny day in February. We tried sun tan lotion for the first time and unfortunately Erin developed a small rash. We will have to try again another day

Happy Valentines Day

Erin made a valentine at daycare and proudly displayed it and ate it when given the chance.

Baby Proofing

Now that Erin is on the move it is time to baby proof. The dreaded cabinet locks are being installed. Erin better take notes this is the last time she will see inside these drawers for many years.

Cups

Grandma and Grandpa gave Erin stacking cups. She loves to chew on them and shake them, no stacking yet, but she is all thumbs now.

better crawling

Here is a better view of Erin crawling. She keeps hamming it up for the camara so it is hard to get a good video.

Exersaucer

Our friend Lirit (Lirona and Ian's daughter) gave us her exersaucer....Erin loves turing the wheels and banging on the animal pictures

Tags

Erin used to lay under the octopus, now she manhandles the cross bars and tries to eat the small tags that are supposed to be for hanging toys. We have created a monster

Yay Crawling

Erin has taken her first steps in a forward direction. Tonight she made some impressive moves. This video is from two days ago when she could only manage one or two inches at time.

Tasting grapes

Erin's first taste of grapes....maybe next time.

Food pacifier

So we bought this new gadget- you can put pieces of fruit or veggies in the mesh bag and the baby is supposed to chew on it without fear of choking. Erin took one lick of grapes in the bag and made a sour face and then proceeded to shake and chew on the other side.

Toy box

The best game is to remove everything from the toy box and then put it back (I wish)

Family photos

Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Cyndi came over to visit for Bridget's birthday weekend. Hopefully we will go up north to visit them in the next month.

Standing

Ok so Erin needed support from the table, but this is the first step to......havoc

Aunt Cyndi and Grandma

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, so thought we would go on a walk and enjoy the weather. Of coures a pre-walk photo session was called for
