Sears debacle

So I thought I would go and get pictures of Erin at Sears for the holidays. I had this free coupon for one free 8x10 and a free sitting fee. Then the sheets of photos were only $2.99. So we take some okay photos and I pick out the one I like best and tell the cashier. She says oh no- you only get the free photo if you spend over $29 and that the discounted sheets are only after you buy 7 at original price of $20. So we just left and took some photos at Maya and Rory's place.

Sweet Pototoes

Today we tried a new food after prompting from the doctor. It turns out we have been under-feeding her and that her recent waking up at night is a result of hunger.

Her new stats are: weight 16lbs 4oz (52%), length 27in (90%), and head cricumference 17in (74%)

This was Erin's first attempt at real food and in light of the upcoming holiday we chose Sweet Potatoes

Sperry's engagement party

We took Erin to Andrew Sperry's engagement party to Sophia at a very nice Italian restuarant in Skid row.

Funny cereal picture

Erin has begun to enjoy the rice cereal. In a fit of excitement she knocked the spoon from my hand and smeared cereal all over her face.

Bouncer

We visited Bridget's college roommates house this weekend and tried out their son Wyatt's bouncer. Erin had a blast so we went out and bought her one too.

Rice cereal take one!

We tried rice cereal yesterday for the first time. Three videos and some pictures later we were both laughing at how eager Erin was to get the spoon in her mouth and then one taste of the cereal and everything was pushed out. Like many new cereal eaters, most was on the face and clothing and very little was swallowed.

Grandma and Aunt Cyndi taught Erin to hold her bottle while feeding. One of her many tricks learned over the weekend (also rolling over more easily and peeing whenever you remove the diaper)

Erin's Trip to San Diego

Erin went down to San Diego with Bridget, Cyndi and Rosalind for a vet conference. She had such a great time with her aunt and granny that she decided not to sleep during the night which made it a great time for all.

Laughter

Erin has finally developed her laugh. I was encouraging her with a handful of toys and funny faces.

Lying down and Reading

Erin really loves her books and enjoys sitting on the couch reading. She really wishes she could watch tv with everyone, but alas we are trying to not let her.

This book is about being nice to animals when you meet them. It is called "Pat them gently"

Here is the whole group of moms at the pumpkin patch. Once again Erin is engrossed in the decoration and not looking at the camara. They did take about fourty shots so maybe one she is looking at the camara.
