Sitting on Mom

Erin started out her Saturday morning with a bottle in bed with mom and dad. For unknown reasons she insisted on drinking her bottle while sitting on Bridget's head.

Erin is trying to copy her mother's professional dance moves. Watch that bootie go!

Run in with Roses

Erin loves to pick the petals off the roses, unfortunately this morning she fell face first into the roses. I picked thorns out of her scalp and palms.

Posing with Mom

After a nice swim we decided to pose for pictures in the yard. The sun was in our faces so we were squinting a little, but we wanted to show off the pretty dress.

Swimming with dad

We spent the afternoon at Brendan's boss' house swimming in her pool and relaxing in the sun.

Eating on a hot summer day

Erin enjoyed a snack by the pool and later munched on a watermelon rind.

Uncle Cliff the babysitter

Uncle Cliff is getting more comfortable around Erin and Erin is enjoying playing with him. I am not sure if sharing a beer is what we had in mind when we said you need to get on her level.

Hanging out with old neighbors

We went over to Melissa and Westins house and met up with Jennifer and her son Luke. Their grandma Elizabeth was also there. Erin once again was throwing a fit about not sharing.

Helping push

She did not want everyone else to do all of the work, so she lent a hand.

Here the queen gets pushed around by her servants. It is amazing what one little girl could get grown adults to do.

Erin's hat was very popular on walks and on uncle Cliff's head.

Great Uncle Manfred part 2

So we tried to pose for several family shots. Here grandma is with her brother and then we stood in our usual spots for the group photos. Erin has lost her desire to be photographed in posed pictures so these were the best we could do.

Manfred is trying to explain that the street is not where we like to play.

Wiping her tongue

Erin does not like to eat solids very much and when she has something in her mouth that she does not like she wipes it out and then wipes her tongue off.

Great-Uncle Manfred

We went home to Benicia to see Great-Uncle Manfred as he was visiting from Isreal. We had fun at dinner nad walking downtown Benicia

Misbehaving

Erin loves to go through the pantry and pick out things to eat. Today she chose chocolate. I am not sure if the drawer was made for babies.

Fireworks

We enjoyed watching the fireworks from the beach. Erin stayed up for the bash and then slept great that night. Good thing too since she has her 6th ear infection and terrible diaper rash. Sorry no pictures of that.
