UCSB lil' sprout

We had a nice visit to UCSB and had lunch in IV at Free Birds. The campus has changed so much since our college years but still made me want to be a college student. Maybe Erin will be a future Gaucho!

Off to Santa Barbara

We left our house so that it could be tented for termites and headed to Santa Barbara for the weekend. We stayed at the hotel Mar Monte (Erin's second time at this hotel). On the way up we visited with cousins Aedan and Dustin.

First Baseball Game

Erin went to her first baseball game- the Angels vs the A's. The A's won thankfully. We had a great time with our friends Dave and his children Anna and Boden. Not sure which was better the game or the dessert (chocolate chip cookies and coffee icecream.

Fun with Bibs

Another great toy is a pile of bibs. She tries to put them on and digs in the pile like a stack of leaves. She also does this with the laundry. I am not sure how helpful she is now, but hopefully in the future she will have a love of laundry and do it for me.

New toy

We bought Erin a new ride-along toy. It can rock, be pushed by us on a walk or used as a first go-cart. The front plays music when she turns the knobs and Erin loves to dance to the music in her own way. So maybe she got her sense rhythm from her mom.

Almost Shiner

In the process of learning to stand one has to learn to fall. Erin took a nose dive off the coffee table and hit her cheek on the bottom shelf of the coffee table. Check out the bruise mid-cheek.

Eating Oaty-Os and Puffs

Erin has learned to feed herself. She still does not like most solid foods with texture but she is exploring new foods daily.
