A butterfly landed on Bridget and Erin got a close encounter. Erin did not hold still long enough for a butterfly to land on her, instead she enjoyed chasing after them as they flew by. Sorry about the upside down photos.

Butterflies!
We went to the LA Natural History Museum for Mother's Day to see the butterfly exhibit. It was cloudy when we arrived so the butterflies were not moving much but soon the sun came out and we saw them flying all around.
Ryan's (from daycare) Birthday
Ryan from daycare had a birthday party at the park. There is a lot of fun things to do there but Erin loves the fake tractor.

UCSB
This weekend we went to Santa Barbara and spent the day at UCSB. We walked around campus with Lindsay and Mike Shinn and their kids Michael and Alex. We had lunch in Carrillo dining commons to reminisce about yesteryear.

Lucas Hayden has arrived
Today while we were having fun at the zoo, my new baby cousin was born after 27hrs of labor. 7lbs 3oz and 19.5inches long he has come into the world on May Day! Happy Birthday Lucas!
